I lived in Central Florida for about 5 years, so I’m familiar with this dealership. Gibson Truck World is the largest truck dealership in the world, boasting 300 trucks sitting on their lot at any given time.
I’ve always thought they had a unique approach to online marketing, but I was thrilled when they signed up for AdLogic. The search campaign is one thing, but with the type of vehicles they have the image campaign is serving them well. Central Florida is full of truck enthusiasts, so these guys and girls are now seeing Gibson Truck World’s Inventory all over the internet, including Motor Trend, Lemon Free, YouTube and more. It’s called branding, and they get it.
I love seeing dealers that do something different, and what really impressed me was the “Rejected Trucks” page. They give you some examples of some beautiful looking trucks, but they tell you why they sent them back to auction. I also like the chest thumping they do on their homepage showing everyone that they lead sales in their area month after month. Actually, according to the PDF on their homepage, in 2011 they sold three times as many vehicles than the number two dealer. That says a lot right there.
Anyway, I stumbled across this article below. It’s a good read for any car guys or girls out there. You can’t deny they don’t know what they’re doing. Kudos for whoever is in charge of marketing over there.

I work for a dealer in Orlando only a few towns away. This company knows what they’re doing, and they’re not afraid to spend a little money on advertising. I’m sure the sales force does well considering the amount of units they’re pushing out every month.
